South Asia Leading Demand Recovery

Indian major IOC, GSPC imported two spot cargoes for Mar delivery in low to mid $8

Indian Oil Corp (IOC) believed to have contracted two spot cargos in last fortnight. IOC bought one for Mar 10 delivery window in low $8. Supplier for the cargo was trading major Vitol, according to market sources. Prior to that IOC bought a spot cargo from Ras Laffan LNG at around $8.70 for delivery from late Feb to early March window. The state owned Gujarat State Petroleum Corp (GSPC) also bought a spot cargo through a buy tender for delivery during mid Feb window at the Petronet LNG operated Dahej terminal. GSPC bought its mid Feb cargo for low to mid $8 from Qatar Petroleum (QP) through a buy tender closed late in Jan.
