SENIOR MARINE MANAGER – GAS
 
Senior Marine Manager – Gas
 
INTERTANKO is seeking a new Senior Marine Manager to focus on gas issues, to be based at our London office.
 
We are looking for an individual with solid, up-to-date operational and technical experience of LNG and LPG tanker operations. Knowledge of vetting inspection protocols for gas tankers would be an advantage. The ideal candidate would have seagoing experience in a senior rank, coupled with a Class 1 certificate of competency from either the deck or engineering side. However, other candidates with demonstrated relevant experience may be considered and we would particularly welcome those who have served as gas engineers.
 
Applicants should have excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrable ability to work in a diverse and multicultural environment and possess the ability to communicate complex issues to non-specialists. Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written, is required, as is computer literacy.
 
The position will require some international travel and representation at international organisations including the IMO. A competitive remuneration package will be offered dependent upon qualifications and experience.
